R. Lee Brewster

Raised in Olathe, Kansas, Lee started his career on active duty in the U.S. Navy after earning an engineering degree from the U.S. Naval Academy. Upon completion of his active duty service as a Surface Warfare Officer, he attended the University of Florida and earned his Juris Doctor, with Honors, with a concentration in land use and environmental law. Concurrently, he obtained his Master of Business Administration from the University of Florida with a degree concentration in Real Estate and Urban Analysis. Lee subsequently obtained his Master of Laws in Real Property Development from the University of Miami.

Having affiliated with the U.S. Navy Reserve upon entering law school, Lee returned to active duty service after obtaining the above-referenced degrees. He then embarked on his civilian career, initially as an advisor to the Canadian government on the re-utilization of military facilities and land before transitioning to the full-time practice of law. In 2016, he retired from the U.S. Navy Reserve.

Lee joined Sloane & Johnson in 2014 and focuses his practice on real estate transactions and real property development. He represents real estate developers and real estate investors in a variety of real estate related projects, including real property acquisitions; real estate development projects, commercial leasing, real estate financing transactions, and dispositions
